With the clocks going forward at the end of the month, the Town of Flowers is springing into life!

1st March - Theatre Severn
The Banff Mountain Film Festival joins the world’s best adventure film-makers and explorers as they push themselves to the limits in the most remote and stunning corners of the globe. Witness epic human-powered feats, life-affirming challenges and mind-blowing cinematography – all on the big screen!

4th March - The Square
The Shrewsbury Farmers Market brings the fields of Shropshire to Shrewsbury Square - 1st Friday of every month. There is a plethora of delicious food & drink to tempt you to try some of the best locally produced food.

Giovanni Pernice
7th February - Theatre Severn
Strictly Come Dancing favourite, Giovanni Pernice, returns with his highly anticipated hit show THIS IS ME. The showman is once again set to light up the stage, along with his cast of professional dancers, for another fabulous year of touring. With the Italian’s natural charm, combined with beautiful choreography perfectly complemented by a fabulous soundtrack.

11th March - Theatre Severn
Rich’s acclaimed BBC4 documentaries (most recently Rich Hall’s Red Menace) and his Radio 4 series Election Breakdown have established a whole new legion of followers. He’s also a stalwart of QI and Have I Got News For You. But seeing the Hoedown is a whole different experience. Gut-busting, rib-tickling, toe-tapping, and shit-kicking, Rich Hall’s Hoedown Deluxe covers the full anatomical spectrum.

12th March - Sabrina Boat
Buy some hairspray and dig out the flashiest clothes you own to party back to the ’80s! Join us on board for a 3-hour cruise to dance to the songs you love. The boat will be decorated to reflect the theme of the party with a themed playlist running through our professional sound system as well as a dance floor, smoking area and a fully stocked bar!

Brandon Allen - The Stanley Turrentine Project
12th March - The Hive
Firmly established as one of the UK's most in demand saxophonists Brandon Allen returns to SJN at the Hive with his 'Stanley Turrentine Project. Soulful playing with a superb hard-swinging and funky rhythm section of Will Barry (keyboard), bassist Conor Chaplin and Dave Ingamels (drums). Drawn from Turrentines releases on the Bluenote and CTI labels together with some of his rock/pop hits of the 60s and 70s.

Made in Shropshire - Fair in the Square
12th March - The Square
Every 2nd Saturday of the month the Made in Shropshire 'Fair in The Square' is carefully curated to ensure the best selection and variety of Shropshire based artists, craftspeople and food producers are represented. Come and find an exciting selection of baked goods, jams and treats as well as expertly crafted artwork, glass, jewellery, clothing, ceramics and homeware.

Welcome to the Mercedes Benz of Shrewsbury 10K, an exciting event on the road race calendar. This is a true town 10K with closed roads and a grand start & finish in the High Street of Shrewsbury. Suitable for all levels of ability with professional chip timing, bespoke medals and technical T-shirts for all competitors. UKA rules and regulations with a AUKCM measured course apply.
